The egg tempera workshop was the most intriguing workshop I did in Unit 1. This ancient painting method, which requires starting with making a board, seems to give me a chance to step forward and finish my painting from the very 'beginning'. It does take a few tedious steps and is time and patience consuming, but I enjoy the process. It's even a bit like meditation and spiritual healing for me, which is why I feel I might have an old soul. I am completely fascinated by the richness of detail and subtle color changes that it gets layer after layer. So I decided to document the process of making it myself.
