I find great fascination in the seemingly ordinary moments that leave a lasting resonance in life. I seek to document the inadvertent leakage of human complexities in these moments, delving into ‘shades of the soul’—suspicious desires, loneliness, vulnerability, anxiety, and the ever-present sense of instability. Through this method, I reflect on and examine my own life while scrutinizing the broader spectrum of humanity, questioning its form and nature.
I often draw inspiration from films, particularly those intimate moments that resonate with my experiences. I collect these moments and weave them into my personal history, creating new images.
Through purposeful framing or obscure narratives, I maintain simplicity and ambiguity in my work, to evoke discomfort and gently prompt the audience to reflect on their desires, contradictions, and the essence of human existence.
